Lori Baker - Creative Editor

I grew up in a family where all the women did needlework of one kind or another. I’ve been a garment seamstress since I was a child but didn’t start quilting till the mid-1990s. Quilting became my passion almost immediately. A part of quilting I love is the many creative possibilities. It is so much fun to explore and see what happens when I try something new. As creative editor, I get to write, travel, teach and meet wonderful people in the sewing world. I get to see amazing quilts, up close and personal.

I’m also a wife, mother and grandmother, and I enjoy gardening and reading.
