Susan Geddes - Graphic Artist
Graphic Designer for QN since 2001, I enjoy all aspects of quilting, but have a fondness for traditional designs. My husband’s grandmother gave me an unfinished quilt top as an engagement gift. I finished the construction, hand quilted the top, and have been a great fan of the art even since. I’m drawn to quilting because of its sense of continuity, art, and community and the craft continues to fulfill and inspire. I usually have a several personal projects in the works: handquilting in the winter, an appliqué project for road trips, and many more in my head. My day at QN consists of magazine design and layout, technical drawing, photo shoots, and of course, quilt designs. Outside of work, my husband and I enjoy skiing, golf, and auto touring with a local car club.
