Art of the People

Drawn to their designs, fabrics and stories, quilt historian and fabric scholar Pat L. Nickols began collecting antique quilts over thirty years ago. She recently wanted to share them with a larger audience, so she donated her collection to the Mingei International Museum in San Diego, California.
