size of block
Thank you. I was thinking that the 2 inches was the FINISHED size. Thanks again for clearing that up.

block sizing
I think if you remember what the finished piece size will be, it will come out to 12". If block D starts out at 2", it will be 1 1/2" after sewing. Block A will be 3", as will the side sections with Block E. Check it out.

According to the download, block "D" is 2 inches and my math says then, the complete block should be 16 inches, not 12 inches as stated in the download. Hope I have not forgotten my basic math, I am 4 score plus. Obviously not a spring chicken any more. LOL
