Entering a bead shop for the first time, Nancy Eha saw display cases covering the walls, containing beadwork from numerous artists. Eha's first thought was, "What a person could create with these tiny beads is infinite!" The beads were captivating and because of their minute size, they offered many ways to attach and arrange them. Eha has asked many "What if?" questions of beads and fabric, and spent countless hours of exploration finding the answers. The more she asked the more she learned, and today she is more likely to achieve her desired outcome. Learn more about Eha's process and how you, too, can acheive your bead-embellishment dreams, check out the Quiltmaker's Workshop in Quilters Newsletter April/May 2015.
Full instructions on how to make your own version of this teapot and a full-size applique template are included in the Workshop as well as photos of some of Eha's other beaded works. Click on image to enlarge.
