Three quilting motifs for Civil War Crossings
The pattern for CivilWar Crossings appears in the QN November 2008 issue. The quilt is a reproduction of one of the first antique quilts documented on the Quilt Index, an online database created and maintained by the Alliance for American Quilts, Michigan State University's MATRIX: Center for Humane Arts, Letters and Social Sciences Online, and the Michigan State University Museum. This year, the Alliance for American Quilts reaches its 15th anniversary, and CivilWar Crossings is a celebration of that milestone.
