“Meetin’ Place” in the December 2008/January 2009 issue of Quilters Newsletter introduces you to three extremely talented art quilters who met, felt an instant connection, and soon became the Three Sisters. Helen Godden, Annette M. Hendricks, and Gail Thomas have pooled their talents to collaborate on some amazing works of art. Part of what drew the three together was the Native American legend of the coyote, the dragonfly, and the dragon, which they printed on the back of their first quilt, The Three Sisters, winner of a blue ribbon in the group quilt category at the 2007 International Quilt Festival in Houston, Texas. Here is a photo of that quilt back–enjoy the legend!
