Prayers to Wear

This magnificent quilted stole, shown in the October/November 2009 issue of Quilters Newsletter, is a stunning accessory worn by Pastor Jill Heather at church events and while walking in the Breast Cancer 3-Day to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Quiltmaker Jean Coleman, of Livonia, Michigan, shown here with Pastor Jill, embroidered the names of Jill's sponsors and those whose memories they wished to honor on the stole's lining. Jean adapted the patterns from clip art found on sundaysandseasons.com.

Beautiful Stole

I picked up Quilters newsletter today and found Prayers to Wear. It brought tears to my eyes. It is a Spirit filled work of art.
