Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Initiative contest

Quilters Newsletter has teamed up with the Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Initiative (AAQI) and Electric Quilt (EQ) to bring you a fabulous fall contest. Anyone who donates a Priority Alzheimer’s Quilt to the AAQI between October 20^th and November 10^th is eligible to win one of three fabulous prizes.

First Prize:

• Electric Quilt 7 (EQ7) quilt design software for PC
• Ten yards of fabric from the Wintergraphix III collection by Jason Yenter for In The Beginning Fabrics

Second Prize:

• A SideWinder portable bobbin winder by Wrights
• Seven and a half yards of fabric from the Gingerland collection by Terry Perry for Northcott fabrics

Third Prize:

• Five and a half yards of fabric from the Holly Holiday collection by Laurie Godin for Northcott fabrics

How to enter:

1. Support the Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Initiative by donating one or more 9” x 12” Priority: Alzheimer’s Quilt(s). Read the rules here.
2. Register your quilt(s) with the AAQI by November 10th. It takes 5 to 7 days to receive your registration number and shipping instructions.
3. Ship your quilt as soon as you receive your registration number(s). Your quilt(s) must arrive no later than November 22 to be eligible.
4. E-mail your Priority: Alzheimer’s Quilt registration number(s) to Submissions@QNM.com with the subject line “AAQI Quilt Contest” by November 20th.  Failure to do so by this deadline makes your quilt ineligible.

Voting:

1. Our readers will vote on the quilts November 29 through December 3 on our blog.
2. Only one vote per IP address. This means that if you are on a shared network (at home, or at the office), only one vote will be registered for that IP.

Winning:

1. On Monday, December 6, three winners will be announced according to the votes received.
2. This contest is open only to residents of the United States. Quilters Newsletter, Electric Quilt, and the Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Initiative are not responsible for lost, misdirected, or bounced mail – electronic or otherwise.
