Houston Fall Market a Success!

I just got back from International Quilt Market in Houston and wow! I am exhausted. As I predicted in my last post, I am brimming with ideas and excitement and I had so much fun–all I can say is that it was all legal– and I’ll write about the new cool stuff and inspiration I found in the upcoming weeks… stay tuned! In the meantime, back to reality and the daily routine. No more eating out for a while, no more sleeping in the middle of the bed, no more bathroom to myself (sigh). Although I have to admit, I had joy in my heart when I saw my dogs wiggling and dancing and barking when they realized I was home. Where had I been? They thought I was gone FOREVER… and,  “We wanna go for a walk!”

At work it’s time for debriefing about our trip, planning for the next year’s worth of issues, unpacking all the samples I picked up, and getting to work. Holy cow! I wouldn’t trade this job for anything, but in returning to the office I just have one question…

Houston aftermath

Did anyone catch the name of the tornado that hit my cube?
