MERRY CHRISTMAS

snowy road 300x225 MERRY CHRISTMAS

It snowed in Denver last Thursday. That was good news for me. Our most popular newstand special is back in 2011. “Best Christmas Quilts” will be on sale in late August. But production starts now and a late spring snow is a great opportunity. Our photographer, Mellisa was game for a Friday morning shoot at the home of our managing editor who lives at about 9000 feet elevation. The higher you go, the more snow you get and there was two feet of snow at Dana’s. So Mellisa and I packed up a dozen quilts and Christmas props and headed up the mountain. We got some great shots, but we’ve got more to go. So for now, I’ll set the stage with this snowy road. But check back, because we have about 30 gorgeous projects for you.

Ohhh! I drove through the Rockies on my way to Utah in May. Yes there was a lot of snow still on the ground. Can’t wait for this Christmas edition, I really am hoping for an outstanding selection of beautiful holiday quilts. Abdolutely love QN, the best for all things in the quilting world. Keep up the great work.
