Inspiration is Everywhere

Recently I took a trip to Florida to visit my family. While the reasons for the trip weren’t pleasant– I was sure that quilting would be the farthest thing from my mind– I found that some of the pictures I took were quilt-inspiring.

I think I’ll try a landscape…

A crystal river

Or try my hand at a portrait?

Who could resist this face?

Or maybe an animal would be the next, best project?

Company is exhausting!

Decisions, decisions, decisions. I can’t wait to start my next project! Which just goes to prove that inspiration can strike anywhere, anytime.

Beautiful! Crystal River is my vote for your next art quilt. This is a wonderful photograph. We can pick fabric together and I’ll cut it for you.
