[Please note this giveaway has ended.]
Happy Monday! Welcome to this week’s Best Quilts for Kids free fabric giveaway! Last month we gave away some soft book panels from the QT (Quilting Treasures) Library, and we still have some more to give away.
We will again make this a Winner’s Choice — the winner of this giveaway will get to choose three panels from the following:
We also have panels for The World of Beatrix Potter, Vol. I and The Flopsy Bunnies (images not available — sorry about that, but you can rest assured they’re as lovely as you remember from when you were reading Beatrix Potter’s books).
Each one-yard panel comes with full instructions on how to make a soft book for a baby or toddler. The large images also lend themselves to fast, fussy-cut quilt patterns. You can see both options in the picture below.
If you’d like a chance to win three book panels from the QT Library, leave us a comment with your three choices before 11:59 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time on Friday, July 15. Comments left after 5:00 p.m. will be approved the next business day, so don’t worry if your comment doesn’t show up right away. We will pick one comment at random, and the winner will receive the panels and a copy of Best Quilts for Kids. (If you’ve won something from us in the past 3 months, you’re not eligible for this prize.)
Good luck! Don’t forget, Best Quilts for Kids is on-sale at newsstands, quilt shops and bookstores, and online. Check back again next week for another giveaway — the best way to learn about giveaways and contests is to follow us on Facebook, which is where we’ll be holding our one-day fabric blowout on July 18 with nine chances to win free fabric!

I love them all but I have to say Beatrix Potter would be my first choice.Brings back alot of memories when my kids were little now I have a grandbaby I can read to and spoil .
I love the dog one, and the elephant one.
thank you!
Love these panels..love to make quilts then use an extra panel to make a carry all for the quilt, so it can travel with the babies.
all beautiful but my three choices would be: Wizzard of Oz, Paddingtons Adventure, and The Saggy Baggy Elephant with or without baby, but would prefer baby girls too pls…tks..Liz
I LOVE the Poky Little Puppy, Saggy Baggy Elephant, and The World of Beatrix Potter, Vol. I. Thanks much!
Saggy Baggy Elephant
Paddington’s Adventures
Paddington’s Counting
Those are my 3 picks!
I used to read the Saggy Baggy Elephant and Pokey Little Puppy to my “Tiny Baby.” Now he is having a “Tiny Baby” and it would be wonderful to pass the stories on to the next generation to love.
I just posted on the wrong post, oh well. I love these panels, my faves are winnie the pooh, the puppy one and the wizard of oz
Elephants, bunnies and Paddington Bears…oh my!
Happy quilting!
I would choose the Wizard of Oz, Beatrix Potter and Flopsy Bunnies! I would be so excited to win these panels, as I have 3 infant great-nephews I would love to make these for! Thanks for the opportunity.
My choices would be “the poky little puppy”, “saggy, baggy elephant” and “flopsy bunnies” I would love to win them for my granddaughter.
Such fabric fun for the grandkids– the books their parents grew up with. I would choose Paddington’s Adventures, Learning to Count with Paddington Bear and The Poky Little Puppy
Saggy Baggy Elephant
Poky Little Puppy
The Wizard of Oz -
I guess I’m really aging myself with these choices – the first two were favorites of mine. If I would win these, two would probably be charity quilts and the third for a very precious little grandniece.
OOOOhhhh … ALL are great! if I have to choose:
Poky Puppy
Saggy Baggy Elephant
Paddingtons Adventures
Thanks for the chance to win!!!
So many choice and all so cute.
The Wizard of Oz
Learning to Count with Paddington Bear
Paddington Adventures
These are all beautiful and difficult to pick any favorites, but my first three would be Saggy Baggy Elephant
Learn to Count with Paddington
Paddington’s Adventures
I’d be most pleased to add any of these books to my ‘future grandbaby’ stash.
Thanks for this chance to participate.
Ah…memories. Pokey puppy and saggy elephant from when I was a kid – and again when my kids were younger, and now my new granddaughter. Beatrice Potter was my oldest sons “theme”, Paddington Bear was my youngest sons “theme”. what fun. Will be looking for them for the little one. I like the soft books, but they make such cute quilts.
I have just recently fallen in love with the concept of soft book and would love to try and make some with a new baby in the house and 4 others in my circle of friends all in the last month I would love to be able to gift some beautiful soft books to develop the love of reading and fabrics!!
my favourites are poky puppy, wizard of oz and counting with paddington
I have a little one who currenlty loves fabric books. She would like the floppsie bunnies, the pokie puppy or saggy elephant. I would love for her to win one, especially as today is her first birthday! Wow this year has flown. Thanks!
My choices would be: The Saggy Baggy Elephant, Beatrix Potter, and The Pokey Puppy. Thanks for the giveaway.
I have always loved Pokey Little Puppy books and love the quilting fabrics for all those childhood books we all loved.
These bring back wonderful childhood memories for me of being read to as a toddler and reading to my children. I’d love to continue that tradition with my grandchildren.
Pokey Puppy, Saggy Baggy Elephant, Paddington counting
Precious! I love them all! Wizard of Oz, Paddington numbers, and Beatrix Potter are my faves.
Oh how absolutely adorable! My three choices would be Saggy Baggy Elephant and Poky Little Puppy because I remember my grandma reading those books to me when I was a little girl! And then my third choice3 would be Flopsy Bunnies for anything rabbits was my favorite when I was little! What great memories to share with my children! Thanks for another fabulous giveaway!
They are too cute to pick but Beatrix#1 and the elephant#2 and alphabets #3
I would love to win The Wizard of Oz because it’s always been one of my favorites and I would love to share it with my grandsons David, age 2, and Bradley, nearly 6. My children took great pride when they were young in bringing their friends over to hear me cackle just like the Wicked Witch of the West, and I still bring it out for the children in the neighborhood. I was a librarian in a small rural community and loved reading books to the schoolchildren, doing all the voices. So a Wizard of Oz paned would be a wonderful gift in so many ways.
Wizard of Oz, The Poky Little Puppy and Learning to Count are me three choices as the represent three stages of growth a child will make during their short childhood. I love fabric books as the are the beginning of a love of reading that will take a child into school on a positive note. I purchased Twas the night before Christmas about 5 years ago and now this year will be able to give it to a grandbaby who is due this August. I am more excited than when I was pregnant.
I just bought the “Best Quilts for Kids” book and found the ad for the fabric giveaway. I hope I am still able to get in on the chance to win.
My favorites would be “Paddington’s Adventures, Paddington Learns to Count, and the Wizard of Oz”. I use these panels to make quilts for my grandchildren and for children at an area camp for children with cancer. The kids love these quilts and the fleece no sew quilts we send them.
So sorry I missed this giveaway! The Poky Puppy, Saggy Baggy Elephant, and Paddington panels certainly bring back sweet memories.
We have a winner! Out of all the eligible entries, the random number generator chose #76, Jackie. Congratulations, Jackie! Send us your mailing address and we’ll get your three Paddington panels shipped to you right away.
Thanks to all who entered! We have a few more weekly kids fabric giveaways coming up, so please check back with us and enter again.
Paddington is one of my favorite characters of all time – my fingers are crossed!!

My choice would be the Wizard of oz one. My son is having our first grandchild in Oct, and my stepson just had a girl 2 months ago. Perfect . Thanks
My oldest daugter just got married this year. Paddinton Bear was a well loved series read to her and her sibblings. Would love to win the three Paddington Bear Books so I can start a baby hope chest for future grandchildren. Always great to be prepared.
