I missed my blog last Tuesday, but I had a good reason. Our photographer and I were out on a photo shoot for Quilters Newsletter’s next newsstand special, Best Fat Quarter Quilts. Photo shoots are one of the best parts of this job. You really get a chance to stretch your creative legs. But photo shoots are scary too. A great photo is what makes me pick up a magazine initially. So if the photos don’t grab me, I might walk right by that magazine stand. So the pressure is on to get beautiful shots. I believe we’ve done that, but I’ll give you a sneak peek and let you be the judge.
We have 30 quilts scheduled for the Fat Quarter Special which will be out October 18. In the meantime, check out our Best Quilts for Kids issue available at www.quiltandsewshop.com And look for our Best Quilts for Christmas issue on August 23.
