With the equinox less than 48 hours away, there’s no doubt that the seasons are changing regardless of where you live. On a personal note, I am slowly letting go of wistful thoughts over the ways I didn’t take advantage of the summer and am starting to look forward to what fall and winter will have to offer. Although I may not be ready to decorate for Christmas yet, that doesn’t mean it’s not too early to start sewing for Christmas, right?
It’s been two weeks since our last Best Quilts for Christmas free fabric giveaway. So it’s only fair that we give away two bundles of fat quarters to make up for it.

This week’s free fabric giveaway is the Winter Song collection by Sharon Holland for Paintbrush Studios by Fabri-Quilt.
We featured Winter Song in two quilts that Sharon Holland designed for Best Quilts for Christmas, Home Circle and Holiday Dishes.
Home Circle and Holiday Dishes from Best Quilts for Christmas
Your loved ones will always be home for Christmas when you make the signature quilt Home Circle, 60″ x 84″. The pattern, which features a Designer Tip for transferring computer-printed signatures to fabric, starts on page 37 of Best Quilts for Christmas. You can also see it on the cover of BQC.
Holiday Dishes, 56″ x 56″, looks much more complex than it is thanks to easy quick-corner and curved-edge piecing. You can find the pattern on page 40 of BQC.
