Welcome to the first day of the 12 Days of Best Christmas Quilts Blog Tour! We’re kicking off the release of Best Christmas Quilts 2012, on sale this week in quilt shops and bookstores, on newsstands and on www.quiltandsewshop.com.
Here’s how the blog tour will work: at 9:00 a.m. MDT on each day of the tour — August 20 to September 5, not including weekends or Labor Day — we will post here on our blog the link to that day’s featured pattern designer’s blog. Click on the link and visit the designer’s blog to learn about the project or quilt she designed for Best Christmas Quilts 2012. You’ll also have a chance to win a bundle of free Christmas fabric (which will vary from day to day) and a copy of Best Christmas Quilts 2012 by leaving a comment on the designer’s blog before midnight MDT on that same day. Note that on some days we’ll have two designers to visit, which means you’ll have a chance to win two different prizes.
Today’s stop on the blog tour is Fat Quarter Shop’s Jolly Jabber, the home of Jocelyn Ueng, who designed the lovely One Winter’s Night throw using the Sentiments collection by 3 Sisters for Moda.
Beautiful, isn’t it? To learn more about it and for a chance to win some Sentiments of your own, courtesy of Moda, be sure to visit Fat Quarter Shop’s Jolly Jabber blog before 11:59 p.m. MDT tonight. Comments left on this blog will not be entered for a chance to win the prize.
And be sure to check back with us daily for more chances to win, not to mention more Christmas quilt inspiration. In the coming days we’ll be visiting Carol Waugh, Patti Carey, Amanda Murphy, Jen Daly, Vickie Clontz, Toby Lischko, Swirly Girls Design, Nancy Mahoney, Janet Jo Smith, Tanesha Nurse, Kim Hanson, Diane Nagle and Rana Heredia. And be sure to join us here on the Quilters Newsletter blog for a final giveaway of a big prize package!
