24 1/2" x 25", 2009, by Alison Muir of Cremorne, New South Wales, Australia. Muir expanded on her Watermarks series for this quilt, in which her hand-painted fabric is the focal point. Hand-stitching from the back forced the fabric to form perpendicular lines on the front, reinforcing the watermarks.
