62 1/2" x 62 1/2", 2011, by Joan Dorsay of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. "I told myself I never, ever wanted to make another Baltimore Album quilt, but I just could not stop," Dorsay said. To make this one unique, "I set myself two main challenges: to use a black background, and to make more complicated blocks using no glues, sprays or stabilizers." She incorporated hand applique, hand quilting, machine piecing, hand embroidery, dimensional applique, ruching and stuffed work.
