62 1/2' x 62 1/2', 2011, by Joan Dorsay of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. 'I told myself I never, ever wanted to make another Baltimore Album quilt, but I just could not stop,' Dorsay said. To make this one unique, 'I set myself two main challenges: to use a black background, and to make more complicated blocks using no glues, sprays or stabilizers.' She incorporated hand applique, hand quilting, machine piecing, hand embroidery, dimensional applique, ruching and stuffed work.
