Line Drawing and
Foundation Pattern
The quilt on the cover of the May 2006 issue of Quilter's Newsletter Magazine (No. 382) is Casablanca, made with stylized paper-foundation pieced Pineapple blocks. A line drawing of the quilt's center is given in the issue. Download the PDF file for an enlarged version of the drawing to print out and color, and for the half-size paper-foundation units for the Pineapple block . The finished blocks in the original quilt are 12" square. The patterns given here make a 6" block.
